Voices That Must Be Heard is a short documentary developed in response to the 2021 Gaza war, focusing on its often-overlooked impact on mental health. Created during Mental Health Awareness Month, the film shifts attention from physical destruction to psychological experience. Built around real voices, the piece features readings of tweets from Gazans, performed by collaborators and paired with minimal visual elements to support the emotional weight of the words. The film adopts a restrained visual approach, using black-and-white imagery to remove distractions and place full emphasis on the message, tone, and human experience.
